The 25th Annual Tandem Mass Spectrometry Workshop will be held at the The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Lake Louise, Alberta from November 28 - December 1, 2012. The workshop focuses on scientific exchange and dissemination of technical aspects of tandem mass spectrometry. Sessions take place in the heart of the Canadian Rockies − 2.5 hours from Calgary. The format is informal and designed to stimulate discussion for a maximum of 110 participants. This is our 25th Anniversary and special attention will be paid to those who have played a critical role in creating, supporting and attending.

Student Travel Awards:
The CSMS and the Lake Louise Workshop offer a number of student travel awards. Each award provides a grant of CDN$2000 to allow senior students to participate and attend the meeting. For more information click here.
Format:
The format will include oral and poster presentations by individual conference participants. Invited speakers will provide expert overviews of basic aspects and applications of Tandem Mass Spectrometry.
Location and Accommodations:
The workshop takes place at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies. Lake Louise is located 180 km west of Calgary (2.5 hrs. drive).

The above rates are all inclusive. (3 meals per day and room and all taxes, grats etc. A day begins with an evening meal and ends the following day after lunch. All spouses and guest MUST be on the meal plan. Cost is $129.15 per day which includes all taxes, grats, etc. A day begins with an evening meal and ends after lunch the following day.
Parking is $10 per day self and $16 per day valet.
Please note: The last shuttle bus leaves the airport from Chateau Lake Louise at 18:30 hours.
In order to guarantee workshop registration, hotel reservations must be made through Margaret Northcott. A hotel reservation made directly with the hotel does not guarantee space is available to attend the workshop. All participants and accompanying guests must be on the meal plan (all inclusive rates as above).
Dates and Times:
The workshop sessions will start at 8:30 on Thursday, November 29th and will adjourn at 12:00 on Saturday, December 1st followed by a Christmas Buffet on Saturday evening. An informal reception will be held on Wednesday, November 28th from 19:30-21:30. A banquet reception will take place at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise on Friday, November 30th from 19:00-21:00. There is an opportunity during Friday and Saturday afternoon to take in the great outdoors and spectacular scenery (downhill or cross-country skiing, walking, skating etc...).
